Danny Manor is a seasoned composer with fresh ideas and an unmatched level of professionalism. His ear for sound and innovative compositions have resulted in a fast and furious resume that includes original music for video games like Spider Man 3, commercial compositions for Toyota, State Farm Insurance, and Jeopardy's 25th Anniversary on CBS. He has written music for several feature length films, including Tripping Forward, a comedy directed by Marcus Nash, and Conventioneers, winner of the John Cassavetes Award at the Spirit Awards in 2006.
Danny Manor's style and ability is as versatile as his background. As a guitarist, he has played live with artists like Mandi Perkins(Sony), and with KCRW favorite Bitter:Sweet, at the Bumbershoot festival. You can hear his guitar playing everywhere from blockbuster soundtracks and commercials for companies like Cisco Systems and Coke. His award as a finalist in the Israeli National Guitar Contest is the result of years of intense training under leading teachers.
Danny attended Rimon School of Jazz & Contemporary Music in Israel and, in 2002, graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. He further studied Composition and Orchestration with Professor Ian Mochiach of the Israeli Philharmonic. He is an ongoing student of contemporary composition and increasingly complicated playing techniques designed to make each and every composition unique.
